Lacey's childhood home was a historical monument in Upland, CA along the Pioneer Trail, and she developed a love of craftsman homes at a young age. Her mother is an art teacher, and her father is a custom home builder and architect. It was common to see her mother at her drawing board and her father at his drafting table, so it's natural that she blended the two disciplines when choosing her career.
Lacey attended Loyola Marymount University's School of Film and Television on a D-1 athletic scholarship for softball, where she studied recording arts and became a photographer for the Los Angeles Loyolan. There she began her career combining her love of photography with music as she photographed A-list bands like No Doubt, Foo Fighters and Coldplay. Listening continues to be the most important thing she does when approaching any project.
The Pratt House in Ojai, California, designed by Green & Green, is Lacey's favorite property.
Paul is our resident architecture expert. He grew up in Oak Park, Illinois, the adopted home of Frank Lloyd Wright. As a teenager, he was known to chauffeur his friends from one masterpiece to another, enthusiastically educating them about each one’s build and design. He continues to carry with him a contagious sense of wonder when capturing a space, and he stays true to his hometown tradition as a docent at Frank Lloyd Wright's UNESCO inscribed Hollyhock House.
An extensive career in television production informs Paul’s approach. He studied film and television at Columbia College in Chicago and honed his skills on numerous hit shows. Paul’s architectural photography has been published in notable publications and recognizable commercial campaigns.
In addition to having a passion for photography and urban exploring, Paul is an avid runner, meditator, and coffee drinker.
Kevin is LWP’s lead Bay Area photographer with a passion for capturing the essence of his subjects through his lens. Born and raised in Alaska, his journey into photography began as a child when his parents gifted him with a disposable camera. This ignited a lifelong passion, setting him on a path of visual storytelling. His early years in Alaska not only shaped his character, but also honed his unique perspective on the world and its intricacies.
After 21 years in Alaska, a decade ago Kevin relocated to California, which he’s called home ever since. After the move, he began to establish a career as a professional photographer, eventually honing a specialization in homes, architecture, design, and portraiture.
When Kevin isn’t shooting, he’s likely spending as much time as possible outdoors, building community, and traveling the world.
Emily is our amazing artist in residence who handles the entire post production process.
She hails from the swamps of Florida (it's really not as bad there as it seems) and has spent the majority of her life dedicated to studying and practicing fine art, as well as observing nature. These passions helped develop and hone her keen eye for detail when it comes to color, composition, and lighting. When she's not playing video games or reading you can find her exploring the many culinary and architectural delights that Los Angeles has to offer.
While an introvert at heart, she loves helping people and won't hesitate to go above and beyond the call of duty.
